Getting started
  1. Create a database in Plesk and import database/jays_bikes.sql into it via phpMyAdmin.
  2. Put your database credentials in config.php.
  3. Build each query in phpMyAdmin first, then paste it into student/queries.php.
  4. Refresh the page it powers, then confirm it on the Self-Check page.

Queries are graded in bands: foundation (q01-q03), intermediate (q04-q07), advanced (q08-q10), expert (q11-q12) and the Directors' Challenge (c1). See the assessment brief for the marks attached to each band.

About Jay's Bikes Ltd

Jay's Bikes runs three shops on the West Country coast (Marine Parade in Weston-super-Mare, Gordano in Portishead and Harbourside in Bristol) selling bikes, accessories and clothing. The directors need this platform working before the spring season starts.
